“Randunele” is a name derived from the Romanian word for the bird, swallow. Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s short story The Happy Prince, it reflects themes of social inequality, compassion, empathy, and love. Lucia grew up reading this story to her father on nights she couldn’t sleep; her artistry is a dedication to him.

Lucia is a Filipina-Romanian visual artist and journalist, originally from the Philippines, who moved to Romania in 2023 to pursue her ambitions and reconnect with her roots for the first time.

Born with a passion for storytelling, she is self-taught and has been taking photos since she could walk. After dabbling in multiple art forms throughout her life, she discovered her greatest aspiration is to bring them together through directing and visual art. Her style is natural and cinematic, focused on real moments rather than stiff poses or overly curated images. She aims to create photos that feel genuine, effortless, and emotionally grounded, or by simply documenting your moments as they are.

Lucia is here to capture your memories, to show the world through her point of view, and to inspire.
